Thick Italian Hot Chocolate

Not your every-day hot chocolate, this is super thick and rich - utterly addictive!

Ingredients
  

  • 115 g good quality dark chocolate, chopped
  • 375 ml full-fat milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornflour

Method
 

  1. Place the chocolate and 125ml of the milk into a small saucepan. Heat on medium, stirring, until chocolate is melting. Pour in the rest of the milk, vanilla, sugar and cornflour, and stir until smooth and thick.
  2. Pour into cups and serve with biscuits for dunking.
